Gisela Hausmann was born in Austria/Europe and spent her entire career researching visual communication in connection with education. She graduated from the University of Vienna/Austria with a Masters Degree in Arts of Mass Media.

Her diverse background includes working on scientific CD-ROM collections, script writing, producing educational movies, she authored and published six books, and taught high school in the US.

 

Gisela Hausmann believes that improving the U.S. math curriculum is the single most important issue with regards to keeping U.S. youth competitive as the challenges of the global society of the 21st century evolve. She has traveled Asia including India and China on numerous occasions.

 

Gisela Hausmann lives in Wilmington, NC.

   

Gisela Hausmann's earlier work includes the production of the coffee-table books "Vienna-Aerial Panorama" and "Austria-Aerial Panorama". Both are of such stunning beauty that the mayor of Vienna, the Austrian parliament, and Vienna Airport Inc. used them as presents for celebrity visitors.
