bullet "A is in APPLE", "B as in BALL", "C as in CAT" - all of us have looked for the perfect association to teach what a certain letter looks like.
bullet I have also seen "A as in Archaeopteryx", "H s in Hippopotamus", and "Q as in Quonset".

Does that make sense to you? (Archaeopteryx is a tough word to spell, plus it is a Latin word, a Hippopotamus is rather round than H-shaped, and no inner-city child knows what a Quonset is).

Associative words need to look like their respective letters!
